Hi people, my name is Bruce and I am nearly 1 year old. I have been in care for a very long time, this is due to me being very shy and not having much contact with people when I was a little kitten so I can take the odd swipe and nip as the slightly cheeky and wild side of me appears. I do like to have a play and hunt toys and I'm getting quite good at football. It has taken me a couple of months and lots 'n lots of enticing tasty treats which I will now take from your hand like in my video (see below) but I have only just recently been jumping up onto sofas and only in the last few days onto the same one that my foster dad is on, so it will take me some time to settle in when I do eventually find my new home. I don't like being picked up and still disappear when someone I don't know comes to visit. I do get a bit excited at mealtimes and if you don't put food in the bowl quick enough I will nibble your elbow, leg, foot or whatever is nearest to hurry you along! I'm not fussy about what you give me but prefer biscuits and I finish them first. I am looking for a very special cat owner with lots of experience and who will take the time to play and continue to socialise with me and possibly turn me into the playful lap cat I could be, but it needs to be a home with no young children or other cats or dogs.
