Attention cat
lovers of West Lothian! Daisy here, flying the flag for the
older cats. I am about 13 years old and my mission is to not
only find a new home for myself but to help raise awareness that
the older cat is a joy and a privilege to have. My story starts
in 2006 when I first came into the care of Cats Protection. My
owner had passed away so a family member took me in but she had
a cat of her own that had just had a litter of kittens. I was so
upset by the loss of my owner and then being taken to a home
with a protective mother cat that didn’t tolerate me at all that
I found myself living outside for several months. I was
eventually brought into the care of Cats Protection in September
2006 and it didn’t take long until a lovely lady decided to
adopt me. Unfortunately I am now back in care as, due to a
change in my owner’s circumstances, she is having to move home
and couldn’t take me with her. I now find myself in the position
that all we older cats dread and that is trying to find that
special someone that is not bothered by age but instead looks
beyond that to the cat inside. If there is someone out there who
wants to experience the joy and love that an older cat is often
ready and willing to provide, then please make a start and call
today and ask for Daisy. xxxx
Fosterers note: Daisy is an
adorable wee cat that would need a quiet adults only home. Daisy
is a little bit timid and needs someone who will let her adjust
to her new environment in her own time. Daisy would need to have
access to a safe garden as she does like to have a potter
outdoors when the weather is nice. Daisy is neutered, vaccinated
and micro chipped and in good health. Please help us find Daisy
that special home where she can spend her twilight years. Thank
you.
