Hello everyone, my name’s Donald and I’m special. Well,
that’s what they keep saying! I’m not available for adoption
yet, but if anyone out there is interested in me, I am quite
happy to take your details! I have been on my own for over a
year, ever since one night when I went back home to cuddle in
and the house was empty - there was no-one in and when I looked
through the window, there was nothing…..everything, including my
family, was gone! I don’t know what I did, had I hurt them in
some way? I’ll never know. You can’t imagine how I felt, but I
knew I just had to get on with it. I have spent the past year on
the streets and my fur became covered in oil from spending
nights under cars and I was just so cold in March when a wee man
from Cats’ Protection took me in. I was standing shivering in
his front room. I was very thin because I had hardly anything to
eat because everything was frozen over. All I wanted was a drink
of clean water. Anyhow, that’s all behind me, because I am now a
healthy weight and have had all manner of things done to me, (if
you know what I mean), including all my vaccinations and I have
been microchipped so I won’t end up in this situation again.
What I am looking for now is a nice family who will give me as
much love as I want to give them but, at the moment, I need some
TLC as I am not ready for adoption just yet. They say I’m still
too ‘scruffy’, but will brush-up well! How dare they, the fur on
the wee Cats Protection man’s head was thin on top! Anyhow, you
can reserve me by contacting these nice folks and, as soon as I
am ready, I’m yours but, remember, I can only go to one home,
so, please don’t fight over me. Well, I must go as I can hear a
tin of cat food being opened. Byeeee, Donald, the TLC (that's
Tender Loving Cat!)
Note from the wee man from Cats Protection: Donald will
be ready soon but he will need time to adjust in a new home as
he has had a rough time having lived outside and fending for
himself for such a long time, so please understand. He really is
a loving cat who will need understanding owners. I know you’re
out there somewhere. Thanks.
