Hello people, I am
a 7 year old girl named Humbug. I have now been in foster
care for too long and I am looking for the right person
to come along and meet me so that I can then be allowed back
outside to enjoy the summer that is just about here. This person
MUST be a VERY experienced cat owner who will give me time to
settle in and get to know them. Once we get to know each other I
am very cuddly and will sit on your lap for a chat while you
watch TV and will tend to sleep on your bed, usually in the
middle even if that is where you are. I also like the odd game
of football with screwed up paper and will play with string and
other toys but I can be a little rough at times. I will take the
odd swipe and nibble at you when I am stressed and upset e.g.
when I am being put into a cat carrier to be taken to the vets
or anywhere else. I am not a cat that likes to be picked up
but will tolerate it briefly when I get to know you. I am
looking for a home which is nice and quiet with no children or
other pets and has a garden away from busy roads. I am neutered,
vaccinated and micro-chipped and ready to go to your home.
Email soon and come and meet me in my foster home where I am
more relaxed and you can see how I am in a home environment.
Note from Cats Protection:
Humbug has now been in foster care for over six months. She is
the kind of cat who does take a bit of time to settle with new
people but once she is used to you and knows she can trust you
she shows you how nice she can be. She has now had three foster
homes and like a lot of cats who have been moved so many times,
she does need time to settle. We are looking for a loving
experienced owner who understands this and will give her space
and patience for her to settle in her own time. She is now very
used to her foster family where she is well loved, but what we
all want to see is Humbug settled permanently. If you have the
experience and love a cat with loads of "cattitude," please
contact us today. Humbug has been in foster care for far too
long now and needs a home she can call her own.
Humbug would be equally happy both in a home where she could
have access to a bit of fresh air or as an indoor cat. |
