Hi cat lovers,
this is Jasmine who is a delightful little black
shorthaired girl aged two years old. She is desperately
seeking a nice warm, quiet, indoor home where she can be
loved and cherished and feel safe again after her terrible
ordeal. She was recently found in a flat where her owner had
collapsed with a stroke and was taken to hospital unable to
tell anyone Jasmine was there. She was discovered still in
the flat two weeks later when the her owner's niece
went there to pick up some clean clothes. The poor wee scone
had survived by drinking toilet water but had become so
stressed she had pulled out most of the fur on her back
legs. She is currently being cared for at our Arbroath
shelter and she is still very stressed and is finding the
presence of other cats and dogs nearby just too much after
her ordeal. Jasmine would flourish in an adult only home
where she was the only pet, or one where there were older
children who would understand that she will need time to get
used to her new family. Under all her fear there is a lovely
little cat waiting to get out as when she was taken to the
vets she quite happily climbed all over him purring.
We would dearly like to get Jasmine settled into a quiet
loving home ASAP where she can be the centre of her new
owners world. If you would like to give Jasmine the new
start she so badly needs, please contact us today. Please
note that as Jasmine is currently at our Arbroath shelter
and she would need to be rehomed from there, although any
prospective owners should contact us at West Lothian in the
first instance for a home visit.
