LOST: Missing from where Fountainbridge/Dalry/Haymarket areas of Edinburgh converge, Peaches is a young, neutered, outdoor-loving female cat. Beige and black striped with white/cream chin and neck and amber coloured eyes. A tabby but is similar in appearance to a Scottish wildcat. Other key distinguishing features - tip of her left ear is missing; soles of her four paws are black; black-rimmed nose and mouth and suffers from feline asthma, so without her medication a persistent cough may have now developed. No collar. Peaches was last seen in her home garden at Upper Grove Place (EH3) on evening of Friday 19/08/11. LOST: Missing from Dick Gardens area of Whitburn since Sunday 21/08/11, Millie is a black and white, 10 year old female cat, small for her age. FOUND: A black shorthaired female cat, called Hessey and 5 years old, has been found and is being looked after by Pet Search West Lothian. She was found at Thirfield Wynd in Livingston Village - in the woods not near the houses. Her microchip details are shown as Braid Vets in Edinburgh who have recently changed their policy on registering microchips. They said that the owners used to send the paperwork off to the chipping company but they now do this. This cat falls into the old policy and the vets would not give out the old owners details to Pet Search but they rang the registered owners who were not very interested as they had already rehomed the cat to someone in Livingston and they have no record of who they were. FOUND: This lovely cat has been living in the garden/conservatory of a kind lady in the Old Town area of Broxburn since around the end of July. We do not know if it is male or female. Lothian Cat Rescue had already been contacted and are going to try to trap the cat but the lady thought we could display the details here in case anyone in West Lothian looking for the cat. It has a good appetite and is friendly and chatty and happy to be around other cats. It has a lump under its front leg but otherwise appears to be in good health. FOUND: A grey and white 6 year old neutered male cat has turned up in Stirling. The Petlog microchip details are  registered to an address in Morley in Yorkshire but were last updated in 2008 and both phone numbers are no longer relevant. We wondered if the owners had perhaps moved into the Stirling area since then and the cat escaped and got lost? Maybe the owners may realise the details have not been changed and contact a Cats Protection near where they used to live? FOUND:  A dead cat was seen on A71, by East Calder, on the evening of 7th May - a black and white young adult cat, wearing a blue velvet collar and bell. Please contact West Lothian Council (01506 775000) as they have probably picked it up by now.

FOUND: A dead cat has been found near the former Renault garage in Livingston, on the way to the Lizzie Bryce roundabout. It is short haired, black on head, back and tail, white underneath, face, legs and tip of ear. It looks like it had been dead a while. FOUND:  A lovely young cat that has turned up in the village of Plean in Stirlingshire in early May. It is very distinctive, being long haired and solid grey but she also has a recent flank spay scar. Hair growth at the scar is  quarter of an inch so the operation would have been done around 4 weeks ago. The cat has no collar or microchip. The cat has obviously been cared for and someone must be missing it. FOUND: A female tortoiseshell cat has been found and is currently being fed by a kind lady in Sutherland Way in Knightsridge, Livingston. Her two dogs have taken a dislike to the cat so we are anxious to find this cat's owner.
