Well, welcome
to my wee pad. It’s me, wee Lucy. I must be one of
the luckiest strays ever. I was very well looked after by
some lovely people when I ‘moved in’ to the a garden shed in
the grounds of a hotel. They fed me all types of lovely
stuff! Yum! I was a bit surprised when Cats Protection came
and took me into their care but my friends told me that I
couldn’t stay at the hotel although they all loved me, and I
certainly know they did so I must say a BIG thank you for
taking care of me so well. I shall miss you, but know what
you did was right. I had lovely grounds to go hunting in,
with the best view ever and it was well away from any unsafe
roads - really the best a cat could get!! Anyhow, here I am
with my foster mum. I have a lovely warm bed every night and
I can’t wait until she gets home at night so I get picked up
and hugged. I have been to the vet, (hmmm), and he says I am
in excellent health and after a few attempts, I took my
worming tablet, all my vaccinations and have been spayed and
microchipped so I need never be lost again. Not the best
half-hour of fun but needs must. Anyhow, I am now looking
for a nice home. I’m good with children, so a nice loving
family would suit me just fine. I do need access to
outdoors, but will return home and give you all the love you
need to de-stress after a hard day! Right, must go, I hear a
food sachet being opened downstairs, hee hee! Lots of love,
your wee Lucy xxx
Fosterer’s note: We can’t thank the staff at
the hotel enough for looking after Lucy. She was very
fortunate in landing at your door and if it were not for
people like you the work we do be so much more difficult.
For all Lucy has been through in her year or so of life, she
is an extremely loving, happy and well adjusted cat. She has
obviously been well socialised at the kitten stage. She just
loves company so whoever is lucky to adopt her will get an
excellent companion.
