Hello all, I am Maple the small Tortie one at the front and that is Jasper behind and he will speak to you later. Now about me - I am 12 years old, very gentle and friendly, I am the more confident of the cats in the house so am always the first to greet visitors, check them out then report back to the others. Now that we have been here for such a long time and are very comfortable I am showing I am a true lap cat and love having a snooze while you watch TV. If I'm not on your lap I will very likely be in the same room as you as I like the company. I do have the occasional play with string, bottle tops or scraps of paper so no expensive toys required other than the catnip addiction.

Hi Jasper here, I am also 12 years old and Maple and I have been together since we were kittens so are the best of friends. I am also very gentle and friendly, although I'm not a lap cat I will sit next to you on the sofa and have recently been sleeping on the spare pillow next to our foster dad where I can keep his nose wet with kisses as I have noticed he is not very good at that like us cats are. I love cuddles, tummy rubs and sitting in front of the heater, even if it stops the heat from getting to you, however I'm not keen on being picked up. We are ok with other cats as we have made friends with Theodore who is also here looking for a new home, so if you have another cat, that is OK, or if you have space for three then please get in contact. We came from a house with young children but would prefer a nice quite house where we can snooze the day away and one that has a nice safe garden away from busy roads.
