CATS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

MARA

Hi folks, cheeky wee Mara here to tell you why you want to adopt me.  Not only am I a gorgeous, sleek black cat with a couple of patches of white (chest and on my tummy between my back legs) and the softest fur a cat could have but I am also filled with energy and will bounce all over the place. I am a trained assassin - no toy mouse meets me and survives!  As soon as I spot one I crouch down and prepare to pounce and once I have caught them my favourite trick is to knock them under a sofa and stick my paws under to try to pull them out again. In my spare time I enjoy playing football with brightly coloured ping pong balls although I could never play professionally as I would fail my drugs test due to my catnip addiction.  I have noticed when my foster mum comes home from work she seems a bit dirty so to help her out I clean her hair (she never seems too keen on this, I can't understand why but she says it's something to do with what else I clean with my tongue). I LOVE cat milk and instantly recognise the bottle when it appears. My foster mum says this is when I become really dangerous because I wind myself round her legs while she tries to walk with the bowl to my place mat!  Mum has told me that I have to be honest in this story so I have to tell you that I enjoy pain au chocolat and scones so you must be very tidy as I will eat any I find - don't think they are safe if they are in a bag, I just chew through it!  I am an affectionate wee girl and will headbutt you for cuddles and attention and chat away to you. I do scare easily and find the smallest places to hide when I am frightened by a loud noise or sudden movement so my foster mum thinks I would be best moving to an adult only home or one where the children are older and more predictable. I love sitting on the window sill shouting at the birds outside and can't wait until I get the chance to get out there to meet them face to face, so a home away from busy roads and railway tracks is a must.  Having told you a little about myself (well it would spoil the surprise if I told you everything) I am sure you will want to adopt me, all you need to do now is complete the online form and ask for me!  Got to go now, I have just heard mum pick up a bottle of cat milk.  See you soon, love Mara xxx
