Please meet
Oscar. He is a very friendly old chap who is looking for
someone to care for him in his twilight years. Oscar has a
rather sad story to tell - he was left behind when his
owners moved house but luckily a neighbour cared for him
until Cats Protection could take him into care. How anyone
could abandon a cat and leave them to fend for themselves is
disgusting and cruel. It beggars belief that a family could
so easily dispose of a cat in this way. Oscar is a lovely
boy who just wants to be loved and give love in return he
doesn't deserve to spend his senior years with the upset of
finding a new home and fitting into a new family. Luckily
Oscar is a trusting soul who does not seem to be
particularly bothered with the situation he finds himself
in. He would fit into a nice family with no other pets, as
we don’t know how he would behave around other animals, and
access to the outdoor so he can have a 'daunder' when the
mood takes him. He has been given a clean bill of health but
Cats Protection is willing to pay for any necessary vet
bills in the future. All Oscar wants is to find a nice new
home where he can relax, be loved and cared for as every cat
has the right to expect. We all need some TLC in our golden
years and cats are no different. He is a very special wee
cat and we know that once you meet him you will agree that
this special boy is the cat to make your family complete. On
behalf of Oscar we thank you for taking the time to read his
story and we hope that it touched someone’s heart and he
will find his forever home very soon.
Please note: Oscar is currently in foster care at our
Inverurie and Alford branch but could be brought to a branch
nearer West Lothian to be rehomed. If you think you could
give him the loving home he needs and deserves, please
contact us at West Lothian in the first instance to arrange
a home visit.
