Please meet
Pebbles - a very special cat who is looking for a very
special home as his owners circumstances have changed and she
can no longer give him the care and attention he needs. Pebbles
is a very handsome grey and white boy aged around ten years old
who was homed from a rescue centre by his current owners about 4
years ago. He is prone to shedding fur but he loves to be
brushed so if his new owner spent a few minutes each day giving
him a wee brush he would be their friend for life! He also
adores to have his chin rubbed. Like a lot of cats he can be a
little shy at first but once he gets to know you he is a very
placid and friendly boy with a lovely temperament. He has never
been known to scratch. Pebbles has lived with another cat before
so with patient introductions he would be a suitable companion
to an older cat. Pebble's favourite food is Asda's own Tiger cat
food and as a special treat he loves nothing more that a piece
of French toast with jam. He loves to go outside to lie in the
garden but has never been a hunter so will not turn up with
unexpected presents for you. Pebbles has a condition called
chronic rhinitis which means he sneezes a lot and this can
require a fair amount of wiping up after, but it does not affect
his quality of life and he just "gets on with it!" He just needs
a little more focus than a normal cat. His current owners have
had various treatments prescribed for Pebbles condition in the
past and have been advised by their vet that it has been caused
by damage done by him sadly being mistreated by his original
owners while he was a baby. As this is not infectious it cannot
be caught by other cats. He has had this condition for so long
now that it is just a way of life for him and he just lives with
it, although his new owners would need to be prepared to help
him cope by wiping his nose from time to time. Please don't let
this put you off giving this beautiful boy the second chance he
so badly needs. If you feel that you can give Pebbles a loving
home please contact us today. |
