Hi, my name is Queenie and I am 2 years old. I am a good natured and well behaved cat, although I am shy and it can take me a wee while to get comfortable with people. I love going outdoors and when at home will find myself a wee corner to sleep in. I am looking for a nice adult family as I can get frightened with children around. I like affection when I'm in the mood and will rub up against your legs especially when I want to go out or be fed! I was previously a Cats Protection cat so I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I have come back into care as my previous family's house had children visiting regularly and I would get quite frightened and hide. I am looking for a quiet home where I can come and go as I please and receive all the attention I need.

COORDINATORS NOTE: Queenie came to us last summer as a stray and while she was with us had a beautiful litter of kittens. She was adopted about a year ago but sadly, through no fault of her own, the rehoming has not worked out. Her current owners feel that their lifestyles are a little busy for her and they are worried that she is not as happy as she could be in a quieter home. Unfortunately when strays come to us, we have no idea of what traumas or cruelty these wee souls have been through and while some cats seem to forget, others sadly do not. We are looking for a loving, quiet home for this gentle cat where she can be the centre of someone's life and where the new owner will take the time and patience to help Queenie settle.
