Hi cat lovers, meet the delightful Scrappy. He is a very friendly 9 year old, fluffy grey boy with simple needs.
He was rehomed two years ago as an indoor cat but his owner has now split up from her partner and has to work long hours. He is used to a lot of human company and when he is left alone he gets very stressed and cries a lot.
Being used to company and having this taken away from him, he cried for his owner and her neighbours complained. To try to get round this predicament, his owner then put him outside through the day while she was out working and not being used to this he was terrified. This caused him even more stress and he started over-grooming himself.
Are you at home for a good part of the day? Do you think you could give this gorgeous boy the love and attention he needs? Scrappy would be fine in either an adult only home or one where there were older children, although he must be rehomed as an only pet.
