Hi peeps, meet
Tigger who is a stunning ginger boy aged about 3
years old. Tigger had lived all his life as a stray and when
he came into foster care he was tested positive for the FIV
virus. This doesn't mean he can't live a happy, healthy
life, it just means that his wandering days are over and he
must be rehomed as an indoor cat only. After living rough
for so long, he is thoroughly enjoying the pampering he is
now getting from our volunteers. He was very thin as he had
to scavenge around for food, although with the good care he
is now receiving he is starting to put on some weight. He
loves his wee pen and cuddles into his cosy bed at night as
he loves the heat. After such a poor start in life, he now
needs a loving owner who will give him his forever home and
where he will feel special for the first time.
He is very friendly and loves being petted. When he first
came into care he had no idea what a toy was but he is now
started to enjoy playing with his fosterer. He loves his
food and is grateful for everything he gets, things that our
own pampered kitties take for granted. He is neutered,
microchipped, vaccinated and fully health checked and is all
ready for that special person to sweep him off his wee feet.
He is currently being fostered at one of our North of
Scotland branches but we can arrange for him to be moved to
our shelter in Arbroath for any prospective owner to travel
to see him. Anyone interested in giving Tigger the home he
so badly needs should contact us at here at the West Lothian
branch in the first instance to arrange a home visit. If you
would like more information on cats with the FIV virus
please either email or phone us and we will be pleased to
answer any questions you may have or we can send you some
information.
