TIMMY

Hi folks, I'm Timmy and I'm the West Lothian Cats Protection resident "gentle giant". I'm a big boy and I've a big, loving gentle nature too. Whoever rehomes me is gonna get a lotta cat for their money!!! I am a very handsome tabby and white boy, aged 8 years old with beautiful markings. I had originally been booted out by my owner and was rehomed in 2005 by West Lothian Cats Protection. Sadly my owner's circumstances have changed and I now find myself without a home again. At the moment I am being looked after by my foster mum and she adores me, but I need to have my own home as being cooped up in a pen is not the best thing for me. I am a bit overweight as I have been kept as a housecat and I badly need to get out and about for some exercise. I'm so gentle and affectionate - I've so much love to give, I don't ask for much and I am craving more attention than my foster mum can give me.
I was a bit of a scaredy cat when I first came into care but it didn't take long before my true personality came shining through. My foster mum thinks I would quite enjoy the company of a cat around my own age - someone I could hook up with and go outdoors and play with. It's not healthy for me to be cooped up indoors and everyone agrees, a bit of regular exercise is just what I'm needing but I couldn't be rehomed with dogs or very young children. I've had at least two homes in my short life and I really want to feel settled knowing that my next one will be my forever home. Could it be you that gives me this? I really hope so. Make my day - contact West Lothian Cats Protection and ask for me now. Big purry headbutts, Timmy xxxxx

Fosterers note. Timmy is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is not on any special diet but his weight would need to be monitored for a while and he does need daily dosages of lactolose as he does tend to get constipated, but he happily takes this medicine in his food. Cats protection will fund this treatment. Note that hisis constipation will be helped enormously by the introduction of regular exercise.
