UISGE and BEATHA

Uisge

Beatha

Please meet Uisge (pronounced Ooshka) which is Gaelic for "water" and  Beatha (pronounced Behar) which in Gaelic means "life" and they are true Scots as water of life means whisky. They are originally from the Highlands and their grandmother was a Scottish wildcat. They love their food and their foster mum and dad feed them very well. They are very affectionate and love human company and also still playful and enjoy playing with balls and cat toys. They are used to the wide outdoors having come from the Highlands and would need a new home with a very safe outdoor area to play and explore.  Uisge does have a slight heart murmur, however the vets do not think this will cause any problems but if it does, Cats Protection will cover any costs involved with this. They are fit, healthy and active, so please don't let this put you off giving them the loving home they deserve and they can't wait to be part of a loving family again. They are used to living with children so a home with nice children who would spend time with them would make them very happy. They are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and are all ready to go.
